[PLAY] Life’s Strategies March 4, 2013

Everywhere around you are strategies in play – some perfectly designed, and some others designed with flaws! These are strategies of people executing their designs of life, like a sculpture chiselling out of a stone or marble the shape of his desire. They pour their plans to the mold of people around them like a blacksmith pouring the boiling mixture of alloy into the cast of his design.

Everywhere around you are efforts in play. Everything you see as people doing around you are their efforts to push their life an inch closer to their dreams. A smiling face of a stranger though looked at suspiciously is perhaps the face of a soul hungry for a smile, or just surviving the battering of life that he called destiny! Every action is a designed move consciously picked from the blue-print of his plans to succeed.  There are people whose wisdom allows them to make that move a kind one, acceptable to the society’s norms; there are people whose thinking are distorted from their perception of people and lives around them, and therefore engage in skewed actions that does not fit into the mold of society.

There are no choices if you look at it from one angle. There are abundance of choices if you look at it from another angle. Certain choices are dear to your heart, but you measure its success through the eyes of people you love, or in some ways influence your life. Certain choices are bitter to your taste, but you embrace them for the same reasons – that it’s liked by others. Your passions are pushed under the solid roller of acceptance of the people you are surrounded with.

Strategies are in action. The fact that you are reading this line is not a coincidence. That too is a subconscious execution of a strategy in your mind – and you know better. Nothing happens in vain. Everything has a purpose. The quality of purpose is defined by us, and that is what makes the difference. Actions are only a bye-product of the purpose. What you do, what you do not do, how much you do or how less you do, when you do and how long you do are all determined by the purpose that serves as a compass, directing you to where you are capable of reaching, or away from that destination.
